Job Description

Are you an experienced logistics professional driven by the passion to optimize Supply Chain operations? Do you excel in data management, analysis, and have hands-on experience with SAP? Join our team as a Logistics Specialist and contribute to delivering Supply Chain excellence towards our customers.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing logistical operations, ensuring seamless stock management, invoice verification and project management of optimizations projects. You’ll also manage relationships with carriers and suppliers for your designated country, making an impact on efficiency and service quality.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cost Analysis & Control: Monitor 3PL warehousing and distribution costs and perform detailed cost development analysis.
  • Carrier & 3PL Management: Act as the main point of contact for operational issues with 3PLs. Managing monthly KPI meetings with suppliers. Develop and maintain KPIs and service levels, implementing improvement actions where needed.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure stock accuracy and reliability while minimizing costs. Perform daily reconciliation between SAP and warehouse systems.
  • Finance: Generate purchase orders, verify invoices, and resolve payment discrepancies. Responsible of the financial month-end closing for you area of responsibility. 

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with SAP, including data extraction and Purchase Order management.
  • Proven experience in Excel, including building dashboards and working with large datasets. Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to adapting processes, improving workflows, and driving continuous improvement projects.
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus.
  • Autonomous working style.
